Akademibokhandeln

Santa’s Workshop

With Christmas approaching we hosted a magical Santa’s Workshop event for Akademibokhandeln celebrating arts, crafts and creativity. Set in a snowy Stockholm at the charming Skridskopaviljongen, the afternoon was led by Felicia Aveklew, who invited guests to ring in Christmas, whilst also contributing to the community.

The event showcased Akademibokhandeln’s extensive arts and crafts offerings through a gift-wrapping and poetry workshop. A professional gift-wrapping expert demonstrated unique and creative techniques using products from Akademibokhandeln.

Guests arrived to the warm welcome of Santa himself, setting the holiday tone as they sipped Christmas-inspired drinks and mingled at the venue before enjoying a festive lunch. Following the meal, Santa’s Workshop was initiated, where guests selected gifts to wrap under the expert guidance of a professional gift wrapper. Midway through, a gospel choir delivered a surprise performance, adding to the holiday spirit. The event concluded with mulled wine and a candy table before Santa collected the wrapped gifts to donate them to the charity organisation Nema Problema.

This event was part of Akademibokhandeln’s initiative to strengthen its brand through social responsibility while highlighting its most popular products ahead of the 2024 holiday season. The goal was to position Akademibokhandeln as a go-to destination for gift wrapping and crafts.
